Most car owners massively underestimate what it costs to keep their car looking sharp. Not because they are bad with money, but because the costs are spread out across the year and never tallied up in one place. A wash here, a polish there, an interior detail before a road trip. By December, you have quietly spent more than you realised, and the car still does not look as good as it did 12 months ago.

What ‘looking new’ actually requires
Keeping a car looking like it just rolled off the lot is not about washing it more often. It is about doing the right things at the right intervals.
A realistic year of presentation maintenance includes:

If you book a couple of full details a year, plus a few interior tidy-ups, plus an occasional exterior polish, you are looking at $1,200 to $1,800 a year in detailing alone. And you are still washing the car yourself or paying for express washes in between.
Option 2: Monthly membership
A detailing membership flips the maths. Instead of paying full price every time something needs doing, you pay a flat monthly fee for a set scope of work performed regularly.
